Rita has served as my personal stylist since September of 2007. She has shown a great deal of talent and expertise in doing a complete make-over for me, including a whole new wardrobe, under garments, belts, shoes, make-up, hair style, etc.  What impressed me the most was how well she understood my tastes and created a style that was perfect and polished for me without changing who I am.  She amplified my personal style and comfort zone.  She did not dress me in “her” style, which is what other friends and personal shoppers have attempted to do with me.  She also helped me put together very stylish outfits for special occasions.  Rita is very fun, intelligent and professional.

What I thought was going to take a mere 1 1/2 session to clear my closet, turned into a wonderful relationship with a stylist. Rita has continued to serve as my personal shopper and stylist for the past year and has made my shopping life so much easier. I never have to search out clothing, she brings new and consigned pieces to my house. She never disappoints me with the styles, and gets what I like and don't really need. She has cleared up all sorts of clutter in my closet and now I truly enjoy reaching for something to wear.

I am a jeans and t-shirt girl, so when it comes to fashion I’m a little lost.  It’s not that I have no style; it’s just that I’ve gotten a little lazy over the years so in most cases comfort wins out over high fashion.  Most women look forward to a big event or night out on the town but for me these things are stressful, mainly because I always feel like I have nothing to wear so that means I’ll have to go shopping.  Sometimes when I walk into a store I get a little overwhelmed so I end up frustrated and just walk out empty handed.  Luckily Rita has been able to help me out when these fashion emergencies come up.

The first time we went shopping together was for a wedding a couple years ago. Rita helped me find a really cute dress along with sandals and accessories.  The dress was something I would have never thought of for myself but it ended up looking really good and worked perfectly for the occasion.  The best part was the dress was so inexpensive, I think it was less than $20 at Macy’s, such a find!  I’ve worn the whole outfit on a few other occasions and I always get a lot of compliments.  Not only did she find an outfit for me she also found an outfit for my husband as well.  That definitely made my life a lot easier!

I was so frustrated with my clothes before I met Rita, but I found her to be a huge help in sorting through my closet and helping me to find new items that really look great on me.  She is so good at telling you what the latest styles are, without insisting you dress a certain way, but instead focusing on what works best for YOUR body.  It is truly fun to shop with Rita.  She is very efficient, upbeat and gets the job done.  I would recommend her to anyone who needs wardrobe guidance.  Cara
